TREKKING

We offer tours from 1 to 5 or more days depending on the difficulty level required (walking from 2 to 8 hours per day).

Tours include:
– around Lake Atitlán surrounded by its 3 majestic volcanoes (easy),
– in the Cuchumatanes mountain range, the highest in Central America at up to 3,500m (11,500ft) (easy),
– between Nebaj in Quiché and Todos Santos through remote regions of the country (moderate),
– for the most demanding treks, around Quetzaltenango passing from one volcano summit to another (difficult),
– and also in Petén, towards the Mayan sites of El Mirador, El Peru, and El Tzotz-Tikal (from December to March).

Mountain biking

A range of MTB tours are possible on Guatemala´s many single and double track trails depending on the participants’ level (beginner to dedicated biker).

The biking is separated by rest days or cultural visits and includes:

– from Antigua to Lake Atitlán through coffee plantations and indigenous villages (easy),
– following the shores and steep relief of Lake Atitlán (moderate),
– on the Cuchumatanes plateau on high, mountainous tracks, or between Nebaj and Todos Santos for those who love remote regions (difficult),
– between archeological sites such as Tikal or Uaxactún in the tropical jungle of Petén (easy)

HORSE RIDING

Various horse rides are offered during your stay including:
– in Petén in the north of the country, through tropical forest and between the Classical Period archeological sites of Yaxhá, Nakum and Tikal (moderate),
– in the steep relief of the Cuchumatanes mountain range in the west of the country (easy to difficult).
